This Privacy Policy describes how Detroit Construction Solutions LLC, doing business as Renovations Now LLC ("RenovationsNOW," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores and shares ("processes") your personal information when you visit renovationsnow.com or any page of ours that links to this policy, request an estimate, book an appointment, or otherwise interact with us (together, the "Services").

We are a kitchen and bathroom remodeling company serving Macomb County and Metro Detroit, Michigan. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services. Questions? Email marketing@renovationsnow.com or call 855-736-6669.

1. What information do we collect?

Information you give us

We collect the personal information you choose to provide when you request an estimate, book an appointment, use our online estimator, call or text us, apply for a job, enter a promotion, or otherwise contact us. Depending on what you do, this may include:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Property address and project details (for example, the room you want remodeled)
  • Contact preferences, including whether you consent to receive text messages
  • Anything else you choose to tell us about your project

We do not process sensitive personal information (such as racial or ethnic origin, health data, or precise geolocation you have not chosen to share). All personal information you provide must be true, complete and accurate.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Services, we and the service providers listed in our Cookie Policy automatically collect certain technical information. It does not identify you by name, but it may include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, the pages you view and the links you click, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the advertising click identifiers (such as Google gclid or Meta fbclid) attached to the link that brought you here. We use this information to keep the site secure, to understand how it is used, and to measure which advertising brings customers to us.

Like most websites, we collect this information through cookies and similar technologies. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie we use and explains how to control them.

Information from other sources

We may receive limited information about you from public records, advertising platforms (for example, when you submit a lead form on Facebook or Google), review sites, and our partners, such as your contact details and the ad you responded to. We use it to respond to your request, keep our records accurate, and improve our marketing.

2. How do we use your information?

We use personal information to:

  • Provide the Services you ask for, including scheduling and performing in-home consultations, estimates and remodeling work
  • Respond to your questions and support requests
  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, project updates, invoices and other administrative messages
  • Send marketing and promotional messages where you have agreed to receive them (you can opt out at any time; see Section 8)
  • Measure and improve our advertising, website and services
  • Show you advertising for our services on other websites and platforms (retargeting)
  • Post customer testimonials and project photos, with your permission
  • Administer promotions, giveaways and home-show entries
  • Protect the Services, our customers and our business, including fraud prevention
  • Comply with legal obligations and defend our legal rights

3. When and with whom do we share your information?

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here.

Service providers

We share personal information with vendors who perform services for us and are contractually required to protect it and use it only on our instructions. Categories include:

  • Customer relationship management and scheduling software
  • Website hosting, database and cloud computing providers
  • Phone, text-messaging and email delivery services
  • Analytics and performance-monitoring tools
  • Advertising and retargeting platforms (for example Google, Meta, Microsoft)
  • Payment processors and financing partners, when you choose to use them
  • Review and reputation-management tools

Other situations

  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, financing, sale of assets or acquisition of all or part of our business.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, court order or to protect our rights, property or safety.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to share information, for example with a financing company.

Text-messaging consent is never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties.

4. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

Yes. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and measure and tailor our advertising. Third parties such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Microsoft and our analytics providers set some of these.

Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use, who sets it, what it does, how long it lasts, and how you can control it through your browser and through each provider's opt-out tools. We do not show a cookie banner on this site; cookies are used as described in the Cookie Policy unless you block them.

5. How long do we keep your information?

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (for example, tax, accounting, warranty and lien-law record-keeping). Customer project records are kept for the life of your warranty and for the period required by Michigan law. When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it.

6. How do we keep your information safe?

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we process, including encrypted connections, access controls and reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use the Services within a secure environment.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

No. The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from or market to anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, email marketing@renovationsnow.com and we will delete it.

8. What are your choices?

  • Marketing emails. Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any text to stop all messages, or reply HELP for help. See Section 11.
  • Phone calls. Tell any member of our team that you do not want to be called, or email us.
  • Cookies and advertising. Follow the instructions in our Cookie Policy.
  • Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages we need to send about an active estimate, appointment or project.

9. Do-Not-Track and Global Privacy Control signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting or send a Global Privacy Control signal. There is no industry standard for responding to these signals, and we do not currently respond to them. You can control cookies and advertising using the methods in our Cookie Policy.

10. Requests to access, correct or delete your information

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, or to have it deleted. You may also ask us to stop using your information for targeted advertising.

We will verify your identity using the information already in our records and may ask for more information if needed. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for making a request. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by emailing marketing@renovationsnow.com.

11. Text messaging (SMS)

RenovationsNOW offers text messaging to customers and prospective customers who provide a mobile number and affirmatively opt in. We collect separate consent for non-marketing messages (estimate scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, crew arrival notices, project status updates, and invoice or payment notifications) and for marketing messages (special offers, discounts, and promotions). Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies based on your project activity and the consents you have provided; subscribers to marketing messages receive approximately 2-4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all text messages, or reply HELP for assistance. We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the site or contact you directly. Please review this policy periodically.
